The Community Social Planning Council of Greater Victoria has teamed up with SocialCoast.org to celebrate the great success of the Community Includes Everyone campaign (aka the four green circles) and to announce the new Community Action Plan on Poverty (CAP on Poverty) with a gourmet 100 mile picnic.
Living Wage 2012
BC has one of the highest poverty rates in the country. With a very high cost of living (particularly housing costs), far too many British Columbians find it difficult to make ends meet. The number of households facing an affordability challenge in the Capital Region continues to rise.

To support successful programming for youth, the Horner Foundation has partnered with the Community Council and the Weikart Centre for Youth Program Quality on a Youth Program Quality Initiative.
