Membership in the Community Council is an indicator of support for the mission and work of the organization. Membership is open to any person or organization. In 2006-2007 there were 143 members: 82 individuals, 38 social service agencies, 16 business and 7 government agencies.

Members support the organization through their donations. Many members of the Community Council also provide leadership and participate in Community Council initiatives. The Community Council is an independent, community-based not for profit society and registered charity.
